Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do your prices include delivery ?
A: All prices quoted include free delivery within a 10 mile(road miles) radius of our base at Bexhill On Sea East Sussex, however, there is a charge for delivery’s outside these areas. Please call us for a quote.
Q:What time do you deliver the inflatable?
A:Delivery’s are made between 8.30am - noon. Special arrangements can be made to suit your needs, IE if you have booked a hall.
Q:How long can I have the inflatable for?
A:You can have the inflatable for the whole day. This means from delivery until 6pm approx.(dusk in autumn & winter months) Again special arrangements can be made.
Q:Can I hire the inflatable over night?
A:Yes, adult castles or inflatable games can be hired overnight. You will need to sign a form stating that you will be responsible for loss or damage to our equipment whilst in your care. There is also an ‘overnight’charge and for your safety it is advisable that the unit is well lit. We can provide lighting for an extra charge. Please see our price list here. Unfortunately due to recent events we no longer hire children’s castles overnight.
Q:If I hire overnight what time will you collect the inflatable the following day?
A:We try to make sure that all overnight hires are collected before noon. Please note that collection may be later in our busy period. ( May - September)
Q:Do you set-up the inflatable, or do we have to?
A:We always set-up our inflatables, this is to ensure that the equipment is installed correctly & operates safely.
Q:How long does it take to set-up
A:Around 10-25 minutes depending on access to the venue & the size of the unit.
Q:What are the power requirements?
A:We will need access to a standard 13 amp socket within 30 meters of the site. We do provide extension leads free of charge however, if we are unable to reach a socket you will need a generator which we can provide at extra cost.
Q:How much electricity will the inflatable use?
A:Around £1.50 a day for a standard hire.
Q:What if it rains?
A:Most of our units are fitted with shower/sun covers & will cope with a passing shower, however if the rain becomes prescient you should not use the inflatable, doing so could be dangerous as the unit becomes very slippery
Note: In the event of bad weather including heavy rain and strong winds 1st 4 Leisure reserve the right to council your booking at short notice on grounds of safety. You will not be charged.
Q:Can your inflatables be used inside?
A:Most can be used inside without a problem, however, you will need to check the height of the venues celling.
Q:Can adults use children’s inflatables?
A:No, under no circumstances must adults use equipment that is not designed for there use. Please check the age limit of your chosen inflatable before hiring.The safety of the user & inflatable could be put at risk & damage may occur thus making the unit unusable for the next hire & you liable to a repair charge.
